Pilates was for me a new way to Love and Care about myself and represented a great technique to add
impactful mindfulness in your physical activity.

I’m Valentina, an Italian in Los Angeles
My passion for Pilates began in the City of Angels 3 years ago, after giving birth to my second girl. The
impact that I experienced from being pregnant was very important and despite being physically active,
in shape and mindful about my nutrition, I started to experience inflammation, autoimmune diseases,
brain fog and my energy levels dropped to the bare minimum.
I started a slow, but consistent, process of healing and I confronted my issues.
My knowledge of movements, body conditions and nutrition were already solid when I moved to the US.
I have practiced ballet for more than 17 years and, after that, I never stopped. Run, weight-lifting, kick
boxing and more but, when I arrived in the States I didn’t stop there. I learned precise methods to heal
the body and the mind using a more holistic approach.
Pilates was for me a new way to Love and Care about myself and represented a great technique to add
impactful mindfulness in your physical activity.
It helped my body to heal, and, in time, I got more resilient and stronger, in better shape and, at the
same time, I improved my mental skills.
I now look at challenges in life with a different mindset. My thoughts and emotions are deeply
connected to my body and changing the way the body is used, breathing, and moving is going to add
tremendous impact on your inner physiology.
Some of my working achievements: I’m an Attorney of Law in good standing for almost 2 decades. I
earned an Ph.D. from Magna Graecia University in Italy and a Certificate in Leadership and Business
from Lehigh University, in Pennsylvania.
Some funny facts about me: I’m very knowledgeable about nutrition and wellbeing. I love to cook, and I
cook at home every single meal. I’m very passionate about the connection between mind and body. So,
I’m constantly looking for new ways to improve it, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
What didn’t change in my transition from being an Attorney into a Pilates instructor is the passion that I
have for helping people.
Knowledge is power.
Sharing my knowledge to help people to achieve their goals and to be the best version of themselves, to
feel better in their own skin is a great way to volunteer into this World.
