This is a mixed Level Class. It is not for first timers, but for clients that have taken private sessions or beginner classes. This Archer Pilates workout is specifically designed to strengthen elongate, tone and tighten the body quickly and safely. It is a strength training workout that achieves muscle definition which is maximized with Archer Pilates’ own twist to achieve faster results than traditional Pilates and/or weight training alone. It also promotes flexibility and elasticity, which helps prevent injury. The class is a MUST for first timers as it teaches you how to use the reformer and set it up based on your height and flexibility. Once you learn good form and posture you will gain strength and achieve muscle definition which is maximized with Archer Pilates own twist to achieve faster results than traditional Pilates and/or weight training alone. The class promotes flexibility, elasticity, and proper form, which helps prevent injury. This class is for ADVANCED students ONLY. MUST have attended our Group Reformer classes already at least 3 times and/or have previous Pilates reformer experience! Take it a step higher with a much more challenging Pilates Reformer workout!!! The goal of the class is centered strength and development of coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental focus. This is a high impact class geared to those that have a good foundation in Pilates and a higher strength level.
You’ve tried Pilates & you’ve tried Bootcamp – Now try BOOTCAMP PILATES!!! This class gives you a unique blend of bootcamp-type exercises and Pilates incorporating hand weights, as well as lunges and push ups to get the heart pumping. A hardcore, fast-moving, sweaty class where you rotate through all of the Pilates equipment including the Cadillac, WundaChair, Ladder Barrel and Reformer, which you would usually only get to use during private sessions.
Therapeutic Pilates is an equipment based, mind/body training method aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance and pain-free, natural movement. It uses the whole body in a functional way and is gentle and effective for all ages. Therapeutic Pilates sessions are an ideal complement to physical therapy.
